The Dockyards are the section of Titan Garden where you can find garages, hangers, maintenance staff, import warehouses and other services connected to the coming and going of starships. Sharing a large portion of the station's outer ring with the Aquatic District, the Dockyards are built around the large gates that separate the domed Garden from Titan's exterior, allowing small to mid-sized craft access into the main station's controlled atmosphere. Special permits are required to land starships in the dockyards, which are typically held by service and utility workers, as well as transport craft moving cargo from freightliners docked at the airstrip into the station itself. In order to keep the Titan atmosphere out and the Garden atmosphere in, each gate is furnished with a Field Curtain, a special low-intensity forcefield emitter array that allows ships to pass through while the gate doors are open without bringing the methane smell of outdoor Titan with them. The Red Raven Towing & Salvage Company keeps their office in the dockyards, and they're one of a number of places a resident can go to purchase a used or refurbished starship.

In order to make the movement of cargo as easy as possible, the dockyards have a height ordinance on building construction. Since flying craft are heavily restricted in the central districts of Titan Garden, hovertrucks moving cargo are routed around the outer ring, overtop of the low-rise buildings in the docks. This way, trucks can circle around to the opposite end of the city proper, land and enter ground-level mode if they need to move into a central district, or simply land at a warehouse in the outer docks themselves. Also, ships moving to the garages and work yards behind the rows of hangars lining the runways connected to each gate can simply fly up, over and land where they need to go, keeping the use of space in the dockyards very efficient. When Red Raven tow a mid-sized starship home it tends to end up in the yard behind their office, where smaller personal craft are repaired in the hangar out front.

Since so much stuff passes through the dockyards they are a popular spot for both rogues and security to hang out. The thieving Red Raven and the smuggling Timberwolf both maintain a low profile under cover of their respective service jobs, working right under the noses of dockyard security. Along the outer walls are large office buildings where administrative work is conducted, and an elevator ride up from these buildings takes security up to the Lookout Posts. Set high on the outer walls, just below the diamond-glass dome, the Lookout Posts have large angled windows that allow security to see the goings-on in each section of the dockyards. Nosy security are a pain in everyone's neck but the job wouldn't be as fun if it were too easy. Fortunately most of the dockyard's crooks and scoundrels have friends working in the Lookout Posts who will pass along notice when one of the particularly aggressive security officers is clocked in. It's important to know who your people are and look out for each other.

It's not all work in the dockyards, the district is known to play when the shops close up for the night. Pubs are a common sight near the inner edge of the dockyards, just on the border to the city proper. Workers will pop in for a drink or a game after a hard day, or rent a room if they're not feeling particularly fit to head home that night. Starfarer can overhear some interesting rumors within these pubs, picking up leads on possible jobs or sightings of shipwrecks spotted by weary travelers. They say an unsanctioned land racing circuit operates out of the dockyards, and if you have a ride that is fit to run on Titan's surface and you know who to talk to you can enter for a chance to win Big Prizes. Hard workers build up hungry appetites, and lucky for them the street food in the area is immaculate. There's more going on than meets the eye in Titan Garden's dockyards, and if you speak the right language and shake the right hands you can find yourself in an interesting spot of trouble real quick.
